Hi, i recently bought the Shadow of war, i play in a pirated version, but im in love with the game and i bought shadow of war, but for my surprise, the save of the pirated version is not compatible with the steam version? why?. It should be. In the files their should be a save sections. Copy that and then paste it in the steam version. Edit: the Steam version of files is pretty much identical save for a few steam specific files and folders. P.s. Codex is amazing. I tend to do the same. Download, try, then buy to support. Mine is more in case my PC can't handle a game.
